I've been sick for the whole week almost because my sister was sick and I wanted to eat some of her Pixie Stick (I think that's what it's called) and I decided that since I never get sick when I share her food when she's sick, I wouldn't get sick this time. But I did, I think because her saliva and spit and slobber was all over the Pixie Stick.
I thought I got mono from her, 'cause I had all the symptoms, but my doctor told me I had a fever and a throat infection. :/ It was horrible. Usually when I get really sick (like 104 degree fevers) it lasts 1-2 days, and when it's like a really small runny nose or cold it lasts like a week or so, which is really weird. This time my fever lasted FOREVER (it felt like).
But someone told me to go to the doctor, and for the first time, I did (going to the doctor for being sick), and I got antiboitics (sp) and some throat medicine. And after the second dose my fever was totally gone. My throat is a little better.
Yesterday I felt so bad I thought I was gonna die so I almost wrote a will and a good-bye letter to my family HAHA. I didn't though, because I didn't wanna move.
